Fort Gatlin Plaza-based wine and cheese shop, Formaggio and Friends (Instagram | Facebook), is celebrating one year of business this month with a couple of events offering all the wine and cheese you never knew you needed.
The shop, owned by Gwen Cooper and Christopher Sorrentino, opened in 2022 and offers a selection of curated cut cheese and wine from Italy and the United States as well as craft beer.
In honor of its first anniversary, the shop will host two separate events this month including:
- Take Flight Tuesday: Our Favorite Things – featuring the duo’s favorite offerings from producers across Italy like Kermit Lynch. The event runs 6:30-8 p.m. and tickets start at $49 and are available HERE for purchase.
- Year One Anniversary Soiree – raise a glass for the shop’s first year anniversary while enjoying delicious food and wine, and live music by Jon Mazz Music. The party will run from 4-9 p.m.
