We told you HERE in September 2023 that Smokemade Meats and Eats (Instagram | Website) had taken over the former Italian House Pizza and Restaurant on Crystal Lake Drive, and it appears that the buildout is finally complete and they are ready to open later this month.
The popular barbecue pop-up announced via social media that they would be hosting a soft-opening weekend on March 22, 23, and 24, from 11 a.m. to sell-out each day. They’re also hosting a giveaway in honor of the soft-opening weekend, which you can participate in below. The winner will be announced on Monday, March 18.
The popular barbecue concept has been popping up around Central Florida for the past few years and made a name for itself with its Texas-style ribs, pork, and scratch-made sides. The new brick-and-mortar will offer beer and wine and ane expanded menu with more sides and desserts than they can currently offer in their delicious-smelling tent.
