We told you HERE on March 25 that local comedian Rauce Padgett (Instagram) had been deposed from his Real Radio gig on The Jim Colbert show by parent company iHeart Media, but it appears, with a little help from his friends, he’ll be back on the air later this week.
Padgett told Bungalower that he had been gifted the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. slot by the infamous duo and heterosexual life partners, Tom Vann and Daniel Dennis of “A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan,” and “A Corporate Time with Tom and Dan,” themselves no strangers to the fickle nature of broadcast radio. “A Corporate Time” started roughly 10 years ago on a Wednesday, and they are hosting a celebratory anniversary party at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center on May 31 – more info HERE.
“Good Sauce with Rauce and Joel” is expected to launch this Wednesday, starring Padgett and co-host Joel Warren, a local comedian and actor, SAK Comedy regular, and writer. Warren has been a regular in Padgett’s viral online videos so we expect even more with the launch of their new show.
