Popular Montreal-style bagel shop, Belanger Bagels (Instagram | Website), has closed, according to a recent post on its social media pages.
The shop opened in June 2020 at at 4339 Edgewater Drive [GMap] in College Park after years of the owner, Eric Belanger, operating the concept as a pop-up at markets in Audubon Park and East End Market. Belanger Bagels also became the bagel of choice at Eola General soon after opening.
Belanger shared that the reason behind the sudden closure in late February was due to medical reasons, which you can read below. Be sure to send him some good energy this Thursday.
