Orlando-based American Burger Bar chain, Graffiti Junktion (Instagram | Website), will be closing its College Park location this weekend.

Bungalower spoke with the owner, Greg Peters, who shared the following:

“The landlord has been great to us and all I want to say is, thank you to College Park for supporting us for the past 10 years. We’ve made some great memories with you, and you guys are awesome. Please go see your favorite College Park employees in Thornton Park.”

– GREG PETERS

Peters shared that the restaurant business is a tough go right now and when faced with the tough decision of either updating the restaurant and renovating the interior or walking away, he had to choose to shut it down. Peters also mentioned that it has been an ongoing struggle to keep the restaurant staffed for the past few years.

All College Park staff that wish to stay with the local chain have been offered to transfer to the Thornton Park location. There are three other Central Florida locations still operating, including Jacksonville Beach, Clermont, and Lake Mary.

The restaurant’s last day of business is scheduled for Sunday, March 26.

This is the same plaza as the new Pizza Bruno and its upcoming donut concept, the new location of Sanford’s popular The Current Seafood Counter, and the new sip-and-shop retail store by Freehand Goods.
