TOP TEN THINGS TO KNOW THIS WEEK

1. Orlando’s City Council will vote today on whether or not to purchase the former Pulse Nightclub property from its three co-owners for a whopping $2 million. 
2. There was finally some movement on Orlando Magic’s long-awaited Sports and Entertainment District last week when they named two new development partners for the massive development. 
3. Looking for an awesome place to celebrate Halloween? Thornton Park District is hosting its 10th Annual Halloween Block Party this weekend and Bungalower Buddy Keyholders can get in for just $10 the day of the event. 
4. Mennello Museum is hosting its crowd-favorite Indie-Folkfest event this Saturday, October 28. It’s a free music festival on the shores of beautiful Lake Formosa and you should ride your bike if you can because parking goes quickly.
5. The Imperial was forced to close its Winter Park location when the building’s new owner decided not to renew their lease. The owner, John Washburn, told Bungalower that he’s working to reopen the concept on Park Avenue soon. 
6. Popular Tex-Mex chain, Superica, is opening a location in Winter Park. 
7. Bungalower launched a new Bingo-inspired beer with Tactical Brewing last week and we’re using it to raise funds for the Zebra Foundation.
