This is our latest rundown of the top ten things you need to know this week, in Orlando’s downtown “bungalow neighborhoods.”

TOP TEN HEADLINES
- In a shake-up that was simultaneously surprising and not surprising at all, onePulse Foundation has just announced that it will be walking away from the Pulse Nightclub property to build a memorial someplace else.
- The new Midnight Bar Permits came into play on Monday and we have a list of who has a permit and who doesn’t. At least at the time of the launch – some businesses received theirs mid-week because they were held up at City Hall.
- The City of Winter Park just approved plans for a new (much larger) Rollins art museum and an expansion of the Crummer School of Business. Both buildings will be near Alfond Inn and the school is calling it the Innovation Triangle. Which sounds pretty sexy, tbh.
- Darden Restaurants just purchased Winter Park-based steak restaurant chain, Ruth’s Chris. Which is cool, but we hope they don’t mess with the scalloped potatoes. And not just because it’s the only thing we can afford on the menu.
- The family behind Armstrong Locks has just put their Mills 50 property on the market and it comes with 17 parking spaces, which you don’t see very often in the popular Main Street district.
- Orange County just lifted its burn ban.
